Paul Schwarz What a cracking songtitle. Spider Kitten really are an easy band to "get wrong". Not just because, as Kitten Youth revealed, what became known as the entity "Spider Kitten" had a minimum of one extra personality lurking within. Noisy, unstructured/unfettered sounds and a riff here are there, _lp is unlikely to see a deluxe 2LP reissue... Favorite track: Slowly She Strapped Me Down (Christmas is a Time for Family).

Underscore LP. The first physical Spider Kitten release. Sometimes labeled as _ep. Originaly released on CDR in grey card wallet. There are one or two promo copies around which have a red wallet. There was also a U.S. edition of this album which had a slightly different tracklist. This was given out at a Sunn/Thrones/Boris show at the Camden Underworld in London. Joe Preston was given a copy although we don't know whether or not he listened to it.
